Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston Stars in The Infiltrator
Director Brad Furman’s new film The Infiltrator starring Bryan Cranston opens today at a theater near you. The crime drama features the former Breaking Bad star as the U.S. Customs special agent Robert Mazur, who helped take down drug lord Pablo Escobar. Ellen Brown Furman wrote the script based on the autobiography of the same name by Mazur. After years playing the high school chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin, Cranston switches to the other side of the war on drums, working under the alias “Bob Musella” to contribute to the downfall of Escobar’s money-laundering organization. Cranston follows-up his Oscar-nominated turn as the lead character in the Hollywood blacklist film Trumbo. Diane Kruger, Benjamin Bratt, John Leguizamo and Amy Ryan co-star.

Cranston was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Television category one year ago toady on July 16, 2016. The Hollywood native took home four Emmys and a Golden Globe for playing Walter White on AMC’s Breaking Bad. In addition to that iconic role, his small screen work includes the three-time Emmy nominated role of Hal on Malcolm in the Middle.
